I bought it mostly to try and keep branches off the roof. Still have some nasty pinstripes up there tho.

I bought a SnoMaster TR42 at Overland Expo West. I had traveled across the country with a cooler and ice. Was tired of buying ice and everything being wet. He gave me a good deal. It’s one of my favorite mods.

I had a set of Thule racks for the bed and 3 Thule bike racks on it. Forgot about it one morning... Drive thru coffee... Music... It's 4:30 in the morning.... Ouch...
Now the bike racks mount in the bed on a frame.

Back ot... Yes, I use them for fishing rods too and as a bump stop when throwing a 28' extension ladder on the truck

THe PO of my truck had bike tire things on it and previously had a bike rack up there, judging by the amount of scratches on the roof. I'm not a huge fan of the look though.

I use mine in the summer to haul kayaks. Don'the have a picture of it but also put it on to mount my light bar without drilling holes in the truck.2017-12-12 08.52.57.jpg 20171216_152851.jpg

Yep! They are Yakima PowderHounds 22.5in. i mainly use them for surf rods which are 11-13ft long, but I've carried smaller 6ft poles with no problems. The most I've gotten was 6 rods up there at once, you just need to stagger the reels so they aren't touching.

That blue taco looks ridiculous bahahaha. But it works. Im a huge fisherman own a 18’ bass boat do bass and stripers mainly. Hows the soft topp working out? Id like one but froends say they look cheap. I noticed you had it romoved in one pic. If i decided i didnt want it anymore would the rails come off without damaging the truck?

Haha that's my buddy. He drove 4 hours on highways like that.

I love my ST. It's one of the more versatile things on my truck. I can't remove it completely (with the exception of those aluminum brackets) in about 5 minutes. The brackets are held on with C clamps so that would take another 5 minutes. I don't think they would cause any damage. You *might* have some scratches on the plastic bed rail caps but it wouldn't be major. The ST does use Velcro to secure the rear window to the tailgate. I opted for a KB Voodoo tailgate cap as it has a lip that you can attach the Velcro to, and not your painted tailgate.

We catch stripers off the beach over here! This was taken during trophy season, you can only keep 1 fish per day and it has to be 36in or larger.

Out here we catch 4-10 lbers but can keep 10 a day. My biggest was a 12lber looked a tad bigger than that one. We use big 7-10” fake trout to catch them out here. I fillet them and deep fry them for fish tacos they taste amazing. One the of the best tasting fish imo. Thanks for the input of the soft topper! Good to know that it wont damage it and good tip on the voodoo tailcap ill remember that.

Nice! Striper has a great consistency and delicate flavor. We also call them Rockfish in my neck of the woods. My uncle made ceviche one year with it and it was incredible.

You should check out the ST thread on here. Plenty of pictures and advice to help you get started. Keep in mind they are 2 brands. Softopper and Bestop.
