I'm a big fan of Lucas products! Their Speed Wax is fantastic, and their Tire and Trim Shine is one of my go-to's.

I'll probably always use this product. It's fun to apply and the results are great. I notice a mirror finish on the wifes dark blue car after I use it. On my orange truck it's not as noticeable as a mirror finish, but rather like a high gloss glaze like candy.

When I do a full detail in the spring/fall, I use Meg's ULW, topped with Collinite's 845, and Lucas Speed Wax for the upkeep.

I've just been using Meg's Gold once every six month's. Then Lucas as a touch up as well.

Lucas seems to take a while to wear off.

I put my avs rain guards inside the window channels, I like them and maybe some minor increase in wind noise, but I have gotten use to it.

So you can slightly crack the window when it’s raining either to enjoy the smell or smoke. Unless there is a more hidden purpose for them im not aware of.

    ORANGE CUP HOLDER INSERTS

I wanted to add a bit more orange to the interior so I made these:

    From this:

    IMG_2607.jpg

It's a stiff plastic canvas that I picked up from AC Moore. I was looking for orange plastic sheets and vinyl but found this instead. It's in the cross stitching section (no I don't cross stitch LOL).

Note: taking on this project requires free hand cutting and eyeballing the dimensions. The interior dimensions of the cup holders are not uniformly round but are squared off a bit.

An advantage to using this material is that it cleans easily if and when I slop drinks around in the car (dang McDonalds extra large sweet tea cups!).

Total cost: 69 cents for the plastic canvas.

The two bucket method of washing a car works great:

    IMG_2718.jpg
Red bucket is the rinse and the white bucket is the soap. This pic was taken after washing my Taco. Notice the white soap bucket is clean with no dirt. The red rinse bucket has all the dirt and crap...the water is actually gray!
