Hey guys I have a question because I'm genuinely concerned about doing something stupid and getting caught on the side of the highway. So let me say first off I don't have the stock towing package I prepped the truck for towing myself by adding a hitch receiver. The question is if I have a 300w amp with a sub and aftermarket jbl speakers hooked into it can I install a onboard compressor for my airlift system and hook up my trailer without risking doing something that I will regret? The compressor draws 10 amps.

With all that, I would probably upgrade my alternator, and get a better battery when the time comes. You are not using all that amperage at once, and if your trailer does not have brakes, that would not cause drain on battery, BUT if you do not have a transmission cooler for towing, I would think about that, also if you are in mountains towing, and you don't have the big radiator, think about that too. If you are towing in mostly flat country just watch your temps and fluids.

Before you go spending a bunch of money on something you totally don't need, let's break down what you're drawing first.

You're running the following ADDITIONAL loads...
    -300watt amp
    -Compressor

    That's it right?

The amp you have will draw a maximum of 25 amps (300/12v=25A). That being said, unless you run the amp at FULL VOLUME all the time, you aren't sending nearly 300w to that subwoofer. In all likelihood, you're only sending that speaker about 30-50w at normal volume. Also consider that compressor will be hitting 10A only when spinning which will be a VERY short amount of time.

Long story short, you do NOT need a better alternator. You'll be fine with what you're currently running. Just make sure you don't jam the stereo too long when the truck is off. :D
