    Ok that is a IFS "Independant front suspension" skid plate. I believe the it will align ok the only difference between the the 2nd gen and third gens is the hole for the oil drain plug. You would have to remove the skid plate every time you wanted to change your oil.If your looking for a factory skid I have one left over from my TRD off road

    Funny cuz if you look at the ebay posting it has a diagram showing all the bolts, and access area's.

    "Avoid removing the skid plate for oil changes by removing the bolts labeled 'A' to access the oil filter" :burp:

    Right so looking at the pictures of the item for sale, then the instructions that come with them are totally wrong. 100% positive feed back on the seller, with 6 reviews stating it fits on what trucks and 5 star rating on the item. Those are all misleading and garbage.

    First- I would not trust images. Second- The first review states it didn't come with directions.Third- It refrences years of the third gen 2016-2018 if it was compatible with the 2nd gen than It should state 2005-current. It's ultimately your money that is spent in the end. I was just voicing my opinion, and I know sometimes that results in people getting butt hurt.

    Yeah really, your reading a description of an item made specifically for a 3rd gen....on eBay. The directions are going to be 3rd gen specific.

    That skid plate in the link is powder coated aluminum. I am wondering about the black factory steel skid plate from the offroad.
