I have a 2015 TRD O-R DBCB. Was wondering about side window defoggers. Why is there not a dedicated vent like most cars/trucks have that directs air at the side windows when using the defroster. Does any one else have an issue with defogging or defrosting the side windows?

Aim your outer dash vents to the side windows.

Your outer dash vents are your side window defrosters, if you check, air will come out of them no matter where you put the knob.

Dash side vents as stated but push the air conditioner button if you need to defrost quicker.

+1 for the a/c........ with such a small cabin the humidity really builds up quickly and the if you don't want to open the windows the a/c really helps dry the air in the cabin.

Just open a window a crack & listen to the fan. Increased flow means In and Out. With that window open the fan works better due to less pressure. It just makes sense.

If your feet are wet or there's water/ snow on the floor, don't use the floor/ defrost combo. Your widows will fog bad. Also, don't shut down the truck in cold weather with moisture on the windows. It will freeze. When you get out, leave the door open for long enough to let out all the warm moist air, so it can be replaced by cold dry air. Last, scrape all the ice off the outside of your windows. Ice outside will cause condensation inside.

the defrost setting is not enough to clear the side and back windows effectively. so using the upper vents with the a/c will push drier air to the back thus clearing all the windows
