I accidently down shifted from 2nd to 1st instead of third in my 2.7 liter and hit 6200 rpm for no longer than a second. Engine seems to be running fine currently. Has anyone had experience with this? Any damage? Thanks.

Probably just burnt a very small amount of oil. I wouldn't sweat it. Marginal over rev.

Usually if you truly money shift you know it. The most damage was probably to your 1st gear syncro and even that was probably not a big deal.
