Not sure which forum to post, but this applies to all drivers in wet/winter conditions.

    Slush covered roads.

While driving to work today, I was pulling out onto a side road and going under a highway overpass. At the perfect time, a tractor trailer sent a wave of road slush down onto my windshield, covering it 100%. It all happened instantly. Luckily, I hit the wipers quickly and wasn't going fast. All good.

Wish I had a change of underwear.

I must have saw it out of my peripheral vision because I braced for impact. I thought maybe a car wrecked above me and was coming down from the overpass.

In the future, I'll pay close attention while driving under an overpass and will keep my hand near the windshield wiper lever.

Truck is covered in brown road slush but oh well. Could be worse.

    Be careful out there. :burnrubber:

I find the road under an overpass really is deceiving and slick.

Funny I was driving down the highway going home last night, going over a bridge. On the other side was a plow coming through and all the snow was pouring down to the road below.

Thought to myself... if that causes an accident on the road below, is the plow truck/city liable?

If it happened to me I’d probably shit myself LOL.

Overpasses can be scary. I've had a few moments myself. I hate that feeling when you get a sudden slide or wobble lol. Be safe out there.

Yep, you nailed it. Wish I had a dash cam. Interesting question on liability- glad I don't have to find out!

For sure. Glad you added that.

Guy I work with slid his Ram 1500 into a ditch yesterday. No damage. Must have been a lucky day.

See this is one of those things you would never really think about, until it happens.

    Thanks for the heads-up!
