Find someone that does the Ductless Mini split, installing ducts will make the home a disaster, etc. This even allows you to set each room with a unit to a specific temperature.

Already have ducting / forced air heating.... so just would have to put in a coil in the system.

Are those the exchangers that heat and cool a room?

Could be depending on your use of "exchangers", it's just a different way to do HVAC. It keeps the compressor (guess condenser is correct word) outside but instead of a centralized unit to cool/ Heat than duct the air through out the entire house. You put this "exchanger" in each room you wish to temp control, with each being independently controlled as well. Rest of the world uses this over our centralized/ ducted systems.

There are several makers but I am familiar with Mitsubishi from 7 years I lived in Germany.

I'm no fan of ductwork and forced scorched air but it's likely that older European countries use these a lot for the same reason that their plumbing is often run exposed outside of their walls. Their buildings were all built prior to AC or even indoor plumbing

True but it is more "efficient" and used on all their new builds too.

Plus, just think of all the space that your "ducted" system eats up in a house vs a tube the size of plumbing that can fit in just about any wall.

Edit: Europe is a cinder block/ Concrete construction so another reason why Ducting just wouldn't work even in new builds.
