South Ga. checking in... No snow to report. Only some sleet and now it's looking dry out. Wish we had some fun pow pow to play in

 

Snow day! Y’all better be whippin’ shitties before it freezes tonight. I had to pull an elderly lady from her Tahoe today after she hit ice, floored the throttle instead of brake, and crashed head on into a house. Driver side nose was pushed all the way back to the a-pillar. She was in shock.

 

Albany and even Baconton got it East of you.

Same here. Me and like a handful of people. Got a sweet parking spot though.

 

We got about a half inch where I am. Work was closed, so I went to try and have a little fun at a snowed over parking lot... Didn't work! I held the TRAC button down for a couple seconds and both lights came on. I started getting the backend kicked out and the traction light kept coming on and locking up.

What's the deal???

I did a little reading when I got home and apparently even though all the traction controls are "off", they will cut back on if you go over 30 mph or the truck feels you've lost control. Makes it hard to control your slide when the vsc/trac/abs keeps kicking in.

Y'all done the abs kill switch mod? Think that would turn off all the traction aids?

 

I had a lot of time to mess around. I had an entire empty parking lot to myself all day

 

Hope school gets cancelled Tommorow... Me and the Mets got some dominating to do on mlb the show!

 

I’m really jealous of everyone who got to play in the snow. I was at work and humping it by 5 am and was there till 5pm
However the drive in was a nice game of winter weather “who’s lane is it anyways “.

 

Yeah, I got out just after first light to head on my 45 mile drive to work in Athens.. at least I got to try out the new Falken Wildpeaks.. did pretty well on the fresh snow covered roads, wasn't sure how often I'd get to utilize the "snow rating" on them..

 

Anyone have a recommendation for a shop that can do cab mount chop in the Atlanta area?

 

Do you not have access to an angle grinder and somebody who can weld? It’d be cheaper that way

 

Got the angel grinder just not the welder.

 

My 07, 18 inch BBC wheels, going on 131k miles and still kicking it day in and out.

 

I’m sure somebody on here has a welder. Just have to offer some payment in the form of beer or food. That’s what i charge for my services haha
