I have 3.7 and 3.9 set on caster :notsure:

I'm probably at like 2.75" of lift.

Edit: I am in the southeast so no rust issues, that'd probably irritate the hell out of me though

Yea for sure. You can tell by how many different lift height, alignment #'s, rub/no rub with 33's and whatnot that you read on this site lol

It's clear @Unchained 5150 wasn't happy with our ball-joint arms and copies and pastes his opinion about them in every thread where the discussion comes up and that's ok. But we have built 1,000+ of these arms and 99% of the customers are completely happy with them. Their is a reason we build 3 different arms ... options, features and price points. Our ball-joint arms aren't for everyone, just like our billet upper arms aren't for everyone. The same can be said about TC, JBA, Dirt King, LR, etc. I'm not gonna go round and round on this because this has been addressed and put to rest a long time ago. We've taken steps to make these arms better.

Do your research, talk to the companies, talk to users and go with what you're comfortable with. We've been in business for 20 years and build some of the best parts out there hands down. If our products and service weren't up to par ... that wouldn't be the case.

So what have you done to "put it to rest and address the issue"? Because when you were contacted for my issue, all I got was "pull the cap, clean it out, coat with grease".......so I still have the issue. I clean and grease them every 2.5-5k miles. They have only been on the truck for a little over a year and 12k miles.

@jpereira2 I don't know what your specific issue is/was but over the years we've made changes/improvements just like I would hope all companies do Their is always room to improve parts. We changed the powdercoat process and masking to coat the parts better. We've changed the tolerances on the cap and cup where the o-ring seals. Tested various o-ring sizes and durometers. We've also updated the instructions giving customers a better step by step process to installing them so that the caps seat correctly and seal better and don't trap air. We test various other ball-joints and boot designs. We're going to have the tubes CNC laser notched for even more accuracy and precision. We also acquired a really expensive 3D laser scanner we used to scan the arms before and after welding to see how much things change from just the welding process, etc. Not many companies have those capabilities and we didn't have to bring that in-house ... but we chose to.

Their is a lot of things that happen behind the scenes that people don't realize are happening, we're always looking to make our parts better and address issues as they arise if so.

anyone is always more than welcome to email me/us issues, concerns and pics of their parts in action. At the end of the day we're all into the same stuff.

Great, was just wondering. My Moog ones are good so far. Greased regularly and pressure released after greasing. I’ll be in touch if I need a set though.

We do get some salt here. Especially with the way this current winter has gone. I do clean regularly though.

I received my arms in August and have about 2500 miles on them and Mine aren’t quite that bad inside but do have some rust and moisture. I do install them the way they say to and have even almost filled the void with grease to help.

Only issue I have is the powdercoat is chipping off from where I have to stick a screwdriver in to Pop the cap. Cap comes off easy too.

Jason, it's clear your truck is in harsh wet conditions that none of us ever see here in sunny California or on the west coast for that matter lol. Every bolt, washer and steel part is rusted on your truck, yes I internet stalked you and looked at your truck pics haha. There is no reason you should be having to grease the inside of the arm every 2-3k miles. That just tells me the cap isn't sealing correctly for some reason and you're getting a lot of moisture in there. It's either too loose of a fit, too tight of a fit where it rolls the o-ring out of its groove or its packing up with air and not sealing.

I'll send you a PM so we can diagnose it and see what the issue is. Have you give me some measurements etc.

At the end of the day all parts are not maintenance free. Powdercoating and plating are not rust proof. Longevity of parts usually comes down to how they were installed, the conditions they are in and how they are maintained. We have customers where uniballs outlast ball-joints and vice versa. We've also had a few customers that thought the cap was too tight of a fit so they barrel sanded the inside, then they wondered why it wasn't sealing correctly lol. We've seen it all sadly.

Here's a CAD rendering we put together showing the new boot configuration we're now supplying with the Camburg ball-joint arms that we've been testing for a while now. This has worked out very well and addressed the MOOG boot issues some have had.

I have the 1.25 UCA's and I was looking on your site and didn't see that you sold LCA's separate, I was wondering how to just get LCA's for long travel

@motoxscott, will the UCAs with the Moog ball joints clear stock 16" steel wheels with 33" tires (255/85's)?

Don't see that being an issue since it's a narrower tire. On a zero offset wheel we typically run a 285/75/16 which is wider.

Do you know what caster is built into these arms? Im thinking a 1-1.5" lift with my 2017 and want to be able to get the truck close to stock caster (needed to get road legal). I have JBA arms sitting at my house but think it may have too much caster for such a small lift.
