They should fit well. These are great boots if you value comfort and warmth. Two seasons on mine and never were my feet cold and always comfortable. They really shine when walking back and forth from the parking lot.

Yeah, in hindsight I should have gotten the 265/75 ones that are E rated. Such is life.

Best place to get tires mounted/balanced but didn't buy tires there? Thank you.

I love them! I had 285/70 Duratracs for my last two sets, and decided to take the plunge and go tall and skinny. Now running 255/80r17s and I don't think I'll ever go back.:mudding::taco:

BTW, I've been stalking @3378jakesr5 build and BS page for a while, and I think I've seen you all over it. Finally reached out to him to build me a HC rear bumper, do you help him out at all? I'm super pumped to get it sorted!

I used Discount Tire, but I'm in the Springs. Good customer service, even though they tend to be busy.

If you go to discount by RSG, make sure your wheels are clean. They didn't bother cleaning the dirt/mud that was caked on the inside of my car wheels. They were out of balance as soon as I put them on. Apparently they don't have an area to clean wheels or even scrape the dirt off. Wish I would have noticed when I loaded them back into my truck.

So what is the advantage of Tall and Skinny?
I have 285/70/17s on a 9 inch wheel. (I currently have MT +s on and hate the road noise) When I put the blizzaks on in winter the noise is quiet and I love it. So I will be moving to all terrain. I was thinking K02 and I said I'd never buy goodyear again after they would not stand behind their warranty (years ago). They actually told me you are one person who are you going to tell... ( I was young and it was before forums like this and blogs were available... BBSs existed tho ;) ). Anyway I digress...

What is the advantage of Tall and Skinny? Advice for a quiet tire?

Tall and skinny gives you better contact pressure and is better for off-road and ice traction. A true off-road vehicle will have tall skinny (reason why military runs tall skinny). As far as road noise mts are all pretty bad, but heard bighorns are mild. Best all around is the cooper discoverer s/t. Great life span and does well in snow/ice around town and will get you anywhere in Colorado mountains. If you want a more aggressive crawler tire go with the s/t maxx.
