    Hey Everyone!

I read the forums every day and thank you for all the priceless info. I cannot tell you have much info I have learned and taken to the dealership for updates and repairs.

My first question to you all is how long did your stock Off-Road tires last. My are starting to wear out and i would like to know how many more miles i could potentialy go before I hit the wear marks.

Yes I understand driving habits matter, and not everyone's tire wear will be the same. I just want to ball park how many more miles i have before I pull the trigger and buy new tires.

I have just over 42K miles on my Stock Wrangler Adventures with “quite a bit” of tread left. I run about 36-38 psi (warm) and they’ve been rotated every 5K. If it was spring (we don’t get much rain here in summer) I’d leave ‘em on for another 5-8K but with winter (maybe??) here plus a desert trip planned, I may get new LT tires soon. I think these have done well despite one flat and one slow leak, both easily patched, and may even just buy LT Adventures as replacements.

When I took mine off they had exactly 30008 miles on them and still had 6/32nd of tread left. I kept them rotated every 5k mi and did quite a bit of highway driving.

Mine are sitting at 38.5K and are down to 3/32. I bought the truck with 32K, but I don't think the guy before me ever took it off the pavement. Then again, he may not have rotated them either. I'm waiting on some Michelin LTX AT2s to come in the mail!

I bought my truck new and the wrangler adventures looked half worn out. I've never seen a new tire with tread that shallow. I have them on my work truck and both sets on my pov and work vehicle are terrible in the snow.Im just under 14,000 and the tires look worn out. I rotated them and drive like a grandma on pavement only.

I had the LTX AT2 on my last tacoma and they were excellent on and off road and in the snow. New they looked like they had 3 times the tread of the good years. Your gonna love em.I went in 2wd with the Michelin were I struggle in 4wd with the wranglers.

I'm pretty excited about them. I was looking for a more conservative all terrain. I originally settled on the Nitto Terra Grapplers, but they don't make the g2s to fit a 16 inch rim. After that, I audibled to the AT2s. I know Michelin makes an outstanding tire, I just wasn't willing to pay the premium at first. Either way, I am excited.

I noticed I started getting better gas mileage with them too. If Michelin is good enough for the space shuttle it's good enough for me.

I found some Goodyear specs that show that the OEM P265/701-16 Wrangler Adventure has less tread (and weighs less) than the aftermarket replacement with same load rating. Still, I think over 40K miles is decent and I think traction and handling etc are very good, wet, dry or snow. I had LTX AT2’s on my T100 and though they look mild, I think they worked very well.

Mine lasted 6k miles and after my first off road trip they were trashed. Had chucks the size of nickles missing and just threw them away. If you touch any type of rocks while off road be prepared to replace all 4. Currently run KO2's 285/75/16 E rated have off roaded way harder on rocks with 25K miles with minimal wears. I've had 7 nail attempts to puncher and have all been deflected with in the first 1/4" of tread.

I'm disappointed the TRD Off Road is not equipped with more aggressive and ply tread tires from factory.
