High revs when turning the steering wheel at low speeds/idle?

    Been driving the truck for a week and I have noticed some wicked rev surges when turning the steering wheel at low speed (when parking) or at idle. Never owned a truck before this but is this normal? My previous cars would surge a bit but not like this.
