Same Wheel Nuts For Steel and Aluminum Rims?

I'm getting winter tires with steel rims for my 3 week old 2017 Sport. Will the wheel nuts from the aluminum rims work with the steel rims? I know the old Corolla and Solara that I have require different wheel nuts for the winter tires.

Also is there a special lug nut to hold the centre cap of the steel wheel SR models?

They will work as your spare is a steel wheel but a full set? I'd get a new set of lug nuts that seat properly without the gap between the taper and the washer.... See page 545ish of of owners manual.

 

No they are different. The ones for the steelies don't have the built in washer.
You could ask to buy some in the tacoma marketplace buy sell trade, sure there are alot of people with these just sitting in their garage

 

Thanks for the responses! Lug nuts for the steelies are cheap and easy to come by here. I'll pick some up tomorrow.
