    I'm in the right place!
    Here's my taco!
2017 4x4 TRD ORDC 6MT in Super White

    Owned since Sept 2017.
None major mods as of right now.
Just plastidipped the grill and the back tailgate and installed WT mudflaps.

Looking to get inspired, grow in knowledge, and waste money on my taco

*previously owned an 1987 Toyota Pickup 4x4 SC Stock

We pretty much have the same truck, except I just got mines last week and I ordered the TRD Pro grille with the truck. Got the premium and tech package too. But I still had to wait about a week to get the manual since they didn’t have any on the lot. I did a muffler swap to a flowmaster 40 and it sounds pretty awesome. I drove it all over the beach yesterday too and could not get it stuck in the sand, I even pulled my friends pathfinder out that he got stuck in the sand. Lol. I’m looking to get a lift with some new wheels and tires soon. I’m on Oahu though, truck would probably be a lot more fun on the big island.
Welcome bro, I’m also a new member too. Lol

cheeeeeee!!!! right on bro! MT FTW! love the pic too man, smoooooth
Still waiting to get the pro grille for mine and I just got regular package for my truck I don't plan on lifting mine anytime soon since I'm 70% on the road (driveway and work is a little off-road that's it) But when I get the chance I go offroading and I love it! nothing major tho, just go to the beach and other places that's why there's no point for me to lift. I'm planning on changing my rims and tires soon. Just BFG KO2s 265/75r/16 and FJ TrD matte black 16" rims . Here's a pic of it from another owner who did it and the second is my truck with the plastic dipped tailgate haha

What'd you do to that tailgate? Is it a cover? It looks great on a white truck!

It's all good man, I'm still learning too. Its Aero Spray can, it gives a matte finish with textures. you can peel it off, you don't want it anymore,
I've seen people do it on their rims etc. more coats will make it durable. Here's a pic

Oh yeah those wheels look really good on the Tacoma. I’m getting the k02 tires too, I have them on my 4x4 Tahoe and they are awesome on and off road tires. Tailgate looks good too. Oh yeah, I also de-badged the Tacoma emblems on the doors and the v6 emblem on the tailgate. Didn’t take any pictures since then though. Still debating on removing the big TRD 4x4 Off Road stickers on the sides of the bed. I kind of like them but kind of don’t. Lol

Beautiful truck. I love the color. Do you have any pictures of your 87?
I am moving to the big island and I wanted to know if you have any information on shipping vehicles and rust. Thanks for your time.

I have shipped a few vehicles to the island. Last was a full size Tundra. Flat rate through Pasha, and takes about 7 days depending on which port and sailing date you pick. arrives in Hilo, done deal.
