    hey all

just got my UWS TBS-63-A-LP-MB delivered. Love it! I love it so much i dont want someone else making off with it.

Attached it with a couple DeeZee DZ97904's.

Seems like it might be easy for someone to reach a long handle saw back and saw those 2 bolts and make off with it.

Aside from attaching it with a couple more DeeZee's, any options to shield those bolts? Like a sleeve or something?

    Thanks,

If someone REALLY wants to take it, they’ll take it. That’s the best advice I’ve gotten.
Maybe chain it to the D rings or something. Something that makes them work harder at stealing it.

Yup. Just dont put anything valuable in there, and you wont have to worry about it.

I had a slightly bigger tool box that I bolted to the bed. Had it for about a year and luckily no one messed with it.

Now I have a camper with even more tools and I’m always paranoid.

only option I can think of is what I did when I had my contigo toughbox in the bed. I drilled a couple of holes through the back wall (bulkhead) run a 1/2" eyelet through it and screw that into a tslot nut. Guaranteed to keep someone from jacking your box. Put a little sealant around it and boom good to go.

Stick some clay up where the bolts are and stick some razor blades in the clay. It someone tries to steal it, just look for someone with a lot of band aids on there hands.

Bingo. Mine has harbor freight tools in it, so if it is ever stolen... :notsure: I'll take a $100 bill to harbor freight and replace everything.
