Yes you can expect some minor power gains. Its just past the point of being noticeable but it definitely flows better. And as far as failing emissions goes I am not sure of Missouri's exact emissions laws but in Virginia where I am from we just have visual inspections only, where they raise the truck up on a lift and verify that the exhaust is connected and doesnt have holes in it and stuff. As far as they can tell, my sensors are in the right place, plugged in, and there are no simulators or anything like that plugged in, and there are no CELs so it passes emissions. FWIW it sounds great too, if you want I can post videos of my spec U full exhaust system.

Spec U is full exhaust sir! It comes with the Y pipe as well as the cat-back portion of the exhaust! And here it is, this video is with all 4 windows down all the way. I dont go full throttle on the takeoff but on the straight portion thats full throttle in 4th from 30-45ish so you can hear the worst drone, which isnt that bad IMO

I've already got the MBRP because it was cheap and I was curious. Hopefully the pairing doesn't set off car alarms. haha

I think your full spec U sounds great!

    Thx for the post
That sounds really good........ I'll admit, a large portion of time is spent on YouTube exhaust note vids.
I'm in. Time to fund juggle...

I know what you mean man! I spent a long time listening to different videos before deciding on the Spec U! I enjoy hearing what everybody does with their trucks and how the different mods change the way the motor sounds

You will need the plug and play 02 simulator from URD when you run their y-pipe. It will keep the monitors “ready”. Because with out the cats and no 02 sim, you’ll set a check engine light and the catalyst monitor/02 monitor will stay “not ready”.

02 sim will plug into the rear 02 sensors. The front 02s are A/F sensors and do not require simulation even if you are running long tube headers

I do have a video somewhere but am on my phone right now and it's on my laptop, I will check later tonight. I can confirm it only deletes the secondary cats, and it does not effect emmissions control/monitoring system in any way. O2 sensors still in, no spacer or simulator needed!

MPG was the same, possibly very slightly improved but is currently not comparable due to my current set of wheels and tires. Steelies and 33s without a regear is killing my mpgs.. I average around 16 city, maybe 18 hwy without wind or anything
