I mean, I can definitely see a big scope on something that really reaches out there. But with a 22lr zeroed at 100 you're talking about 12 inches of drop at 150 yards, 20-ish at 175, & I think you're over 30 at 200.
I understand that very specialized target shooting requires a specialized scope. But as somebody who mostly plinks and hunts it doesn't compute

Obviously, I’m talking about the average Joe’s out there. there’s always going to be specific conditions where we all utilize our tools to their fullest extent

Well anymore I can find them for about 40 bucks online, of course when I bought all of mine they were averaging 60 each right when the vp9 hit the market.

I started out with a 1944 Mosin of course, cut 5 1/2 inches off the front, crowned, threaded and a break. Archangel stock, Rock Solid scope mount, custom bolt/knob. Timney trigger. 3 mags to feed it. Scope of course. Harmonicly balanced the barrel, bipod and a few other odd and ends. I was lucky enough to sell it for what I had put into it.

This scope appears tiny looking through compared to what I usually use.

A guy down the road here from me puts corn next to his mailbox about 200 yds from the house and lets his motion sensor tell him when the Deer are eating the corn :infantry::facepalm:

I live close to the Flight path to the Atlanta Airport, I would be crashing planes if I used one of those. What kind of Generator is hooked to it? :p

Anyone check out the glock 19x in person yet? I mean its nothing brand new.. but the 17 frame with 19 slide is kinda cool. I just dont like the FDE color

Got a few in at my shop. I really like it. Gen3 and 4 mags work in it. I like the slide coating, and it feels good. I’ll wait and get one used or through one of my dealer programs.

It takes 17 mags either 19X or gen 3 or 4 gen 5 won’t work, but I didn’t try them. Going off what the review said, but I did test the 3 and 4 today

Ahh makes sense. The 19 mag would be too short for that frame
