They aren't much longer than stock. If you get Dakars, get the 5125s. They're extended length. If you just add a leaf, the 5100s are fine.

Okay this is my order list, 5100's with 885 coils for the front with the shocks set at zero, progressive add a leafs for the rear, do i need any drop brackets or anything else im placing my order in the morning im tired of fucking with it, i will deal with the uca,s later if i need them which i hope i dont, anything else let me know, actually this is pretty reasonable way to lift money wise, i think if i was purchasing a truck all ready set up this is what i would want instead of a couple hundred bucks of metal lifting it.

This list is perfect. You're on track with doing UCAs later. When you finally do, you'll be glad you did. But not totally necessary with 885 coils. Also, just FYI, there's enough up travel in 5100s to put in 1/2" spacers for an extra 1" of lift, if you decide to bump the front up to 3" in the future.

In my personal experience, the 885 coils give the exact same amount of lift as stock coils on 5100s set on the 1.75" setting.

The 885s ride nicer. Preloading the stock springs is a firmer ride. I liked the ride of the preloaded springs, but on really rough drives and off-roading, the 885s are much smoother.

It is a money saving option though.

So, bad advice on improving the load carrying characteristics of the truck, and then not even helping u with a quote would have me spending money elsewhere.

    I highly recommend Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road

Free shipping, excellent customer service, and she knows a thing or two about lifting Tacomas.
