Well, looks like no one interested in my scraped up TRD PRO suspension. I’ll just get it installed and maybe replace it in a couple years with Some newer ones.

I'd try peeling all of the graphics off. After that, I think it looked like there were only a couple scrapes. Probably wouldn't be noticeable after that.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Get a hold of Fox and see if you can get new decals. Would fix most of that?

This is actually a brilliant idea. Reach out to the forum members on here that do custom vinyl printing and see if you can get some custom vinyl decals to cover the existing decal locations AND the scratches. You could end up with something rather awesome.

I’ve been trying to get over the fact that you bought a used set of shocks, (for $1600) something that’s going to get banged up and dirty if you ever crawl away from the mall but you remain hesitant to mount them up because the superficial blemishes. Blemishes that you would have to turn the wheels to max, get down on a knee and then seek out.

What would you do if you got a door ding from the mall? Pin-striping from some brush on the side of a trail? Scratches behind the door handles from all the hoes trying to climb onboard?

    What then man!!?? What then....

It's called taking pride in ownership. Taking care of your possessions so that they last longer than the bare minimum.

While I understand a few of your points, I think OP is struggling with the fact that he paid good money ($1600) and received an item that is unnecessarily flawed. In addition, its superficial blemishes can be indicative of its non-visual components' condition. If someone doesn't take care of their possessions in a superficial way, it's probably safe to say they don't maintain them as well in non-superficial ways... which ties back into my first point.

We don’t have a mall in Hermiston. This truck hasn’t been to one. :D

To be honest the most off-road this truck will see is all of the gravel and dirt farming roads that are all over the place in northeast oregon. On weekends, it’s fun to pick one I’ve never driven on and drive it to the end. I know that isn’t off-roading, but it sure is relaxing and fun for me.

So yeah I baby my truck, and I’m a bit OCD about this stuff. I’ll put em on and enjoy them nonetheless ;)

You’re driving a 35k+ truck, albeit it’s an AT (nobody’s perfect), you should drive it wherever you want bud. You’re likely still in the honeymoon phase but that will pass and you’ll be banging ditches with the rest of us.

And this sir...is how I know you’ve never pulled a set of front shocks off a Tacoma. That fairly beneign looking scratch is better than par for the course in the realm of removal.

And to be fair you don’t know jack (that’s about as kid-gloves as I can put it - I’ve been warned about this) as it pertains to how many times the truck was fucking jumped IMMEDIATELY upon rolling it off the lot before the shocks were pulled based on a surface scratch, bud.

    EDIT: cracks beer #1
