Anything in the chicken family. I’ve eaten ducks and geese with no problems.

    So sorry.

I haven't really been using crockpots lately now that I have the Instant Pot figured out. Made some Orange chicken earlier in the week that is fantastic, best I have had yet. Only took 12 minutes in the instant pot on high pressure :anonymous: but you could do the same in a crockpot cooking it all day. My sons don't like chicken dark meat and I don't care for the white. But this made chicken breast highly edible to say the least. I went 150% on ingredients because I had 3 pounds of meat. The cornstarch is for when it is almost done make a paste with orange juice and thicken the sauce with it. I don't have any white sugar in the house and don't plan on it so doubled the brown sugar and it was fine.

    • 2 lbs chicken breast or thighs cut into 1-2 inch pieces
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 1 cup orange juice no sugar added
    • 6 cloves garlic minced
    • 1 cup tomato sauce, I used Marina sauce.
    • ¼ cup granulated sugar
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • ¼ cup soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (if you want a little kick, more, less, or leave out)
    • zest from 1 orange

So did I! Added baby carrots to the mix and made mashed taters. It was good, just needs a little tweaking. Sure was easy.
