Hey everyone! New to the forum and to the Toyota world ! I am in a rural area trying to purchase a 2013 Tacoma, access cab off road from across the province so I can't try the car seat in the back seat beforehand. The car seat would not be needed every day and if I do have my daughter, I would be driving a few streets away to the babysitter's house or once in a while on a highway to the grocery store in the nearest town, half an hour away. Note : We get quite a bit of snow so I want to be safe :)

I see in the pics there are latch rings. The seats seem a little short to fully accommodate my carseat (she is two but small so I have a bigger front face or rear facing) i dont mind if i have to put passenger seat way ahead..

Does anybody have experience with car seats in access cab ? I seen a post where it looked like the seat folded down flat?? Or was it an extension that was bought.. I am unsure how to comment directly on that post .. Thank you all in advance !

It fits, I've done it for three years. Britax make a car seat that's a little more compact and works great.

Thanks everyone! Anyone know where to get seat extenders such as

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/child-seat-in-access-cab.150293/page-2

Or is this just a different year. We just bought the 2013 access cab off road and rear seats dont seem to fold down like this. My rear facing carseat is fine but if someone is in passenger seat you are pretty close to dash. My front facing carseat fits perfect but she is still a little small for that seat. I would rather not buy any more car seats if I can help it lol. I love this truck!! Great shape, hear some knocking in the back though, only when going slow over bumps. , leaf springs etc look fine will take a better look today.
