    Hey guys,

Got myself a 2004 Prerunner 2.7L, stock leafs are looking pretty sad which means it's a good excuse to replace the suspension all the way around. Never done this before, so I'm overwhelmed by all the research I'm doing. Truck is used for daily driving and monthly weekend-warrior adventures, usually forest service roads.

I'm not looking for much lift, but I'm not opposed either. I'm leaning toward a full OME kit with 881s and new leafs. I don't think I'll need UCAs, since I'm not going for 3".

From Toytec, it looks like about $1300. My question is: do you recommend this kit, or is there a better kit for the price? Secondly, can this price be beat by other sellers, or by buying piecemeal? Also, I've heard that replacing shocks with bilstein 5100s will yield a more comfortable ride? And any other advice is appreciated. Thanks.

881’s and Dakars will be a great choice and a good deal for the money IMO. As far as price, that sounds about right, but you might be able to find a better deal... you’ll have to search around. Check Wheeler’s off road, Headstrong off road, Downsouth Motorsports, Cruiser Outfitters, etc.
