    I didn't make it to pretty place. It was getting dark.
    I did a full loop up 25 to the NC border, then onto Bob's creek rd. 1st exit into NC. Bob's creek is just a packed dirt rd that leads to reservoir rd. I've never followed Bob's creek up the hill.
    Then back down 276. I think I passed pretty place on the left coming up that side of 276 as cedars head was on the right.

    I'll have to check Google earth but I think Bob's creek goes all the way up black mountain into Asheville. All via a dirt rd at the SC border.
    Gonna try and explore more this week.

    Its been doing it off and on for probably 2 years. About 3 weeks ago I called it a bitch and kicked it in the cooter and its been silent till tonight.
