I’m at $918 right now. He billed my card. That’s for the bolts, lca bushings and ball joint. I’m wondering if he got the entire assembly. Gave him the go ahead thinking it wasn’t going to be so much.

Nice job! Does that have any front and back movement? I had to run two straps, one like you have it and another one across the tire to keep in from rocking. However, I didn't have it mounted as tight around like you have it.

Yeah, back to the drawing board. I think my mounting is the leak wink, how i bolted it under the bed. Used 1/8” and i think when it moves its bending it up into the bed Vs or whatever there called. Im gonna use 3/16 piece to reinforce it under. The movement i can leave it, its not too bad and makes no noise, running a strap to the front would be perfect, ill figure a way to do that. Plus i made this for a 33 tire. So its being flexed alot to work with the smaller 31

Its not bad but not great, ive never lifted a tacoma. But did lots of research into.
Spend the money once and be happy.
    Tried and trued for 3rdgen

    887 ome springs
Single add a leaf or the 3 pack

Bilstein 5100 specific for the 3rd gen.

    No blocks, no spring compressing.

Go to the thread i linked for 3rdgen with 5100 and aal. They post everything they used and what it looks like and most times say it improved the truck

Yeah. Had the same issue with my skinny 33 strapped the way I had it. If you zoom you can kinda see it. Just a strap over top and across worked.

Reason I went straight to Fox.

But just saying for maybe $500 more you can do a nice fox set up. No extended travel, but comfortable ride.

Fox 2.0 aren't that expensive and I think @Thyces has them in rear.
The ride will be comfortable. Definitely better than factory.

Only reason mine is rough in the rear is from dakars. But with a little weight it's much better than factory. And all Fox are valved the same across the line. Only difference is when you start getting into DSC like I have. Softest on mine is how all the others are. But I can adjust the rebound and compression rate.

Truthfully if I were to do it again I'd probably skip the DSC as it's really only needed for jumping and racing. And I have most of it set as soft as possible.

Might adjust though come summer to see if I can get it better. Really mine was just rough as fuck at first so I set them soft. But now that they've settled it's so comfy. Don't feel anything

    Yes. Much better ride.
Not many places will stock it. Could try 4wheelparts maybe.
