Has anyone purchased one of these winch bumpers yet? I was pricing winches at Central off road in Portland and the tech mentioned Warn was producing a new Tacoma front bumper. Thanks download.jpg download.jpg

I just noticed that they are $604 shipped to my house. ..and that's with powder coating and the top hoop. SSO and C4 fab. has similar bumpers but for a lot more. I'm curious about the quality?...if anyone has one ?

If its steal im sure the quality is the same. I dont like the tall center hoop. Is no different than sos concepts streamline or sso slimline wonch bumpers. Also look into sdhq’s hidden winch plate. I just installed my sos streamline that looks exactly like this but a lower hoop and absolutely love it. Also thought about the hidden winch mount. Both are great options

Thats about 200$ less than others so pretty decent price. Also with center hoop high u can install a hidden lower bumper 32” led light. I had to remove mine cause lower hoop covers that area

Don't have to cut up your bumper cover/trim for this one.

Yeah, I agree the design is similar to previous ones but it's still a simple idea. I'm not sure how much of a rip-off it is but I like the price point and Warn is local up here in Oregon. Plus I'm sure they are designed to fit their winches.

If thats true than this is a better option. Cutting bumper was very easy but would like option to sell in future and return to stock so huge plus

Where are they $604. Can you send a link.

Also guys if you look at this the Warn doesn’t actually go under the bumper. You just take off the Black center piece and two posts mount the bumper to frame through that hole.

Well I just ordered it anyway for $603.97 ! Pure tacoma and Clemson 4wd. has it listed for $749.99 + shipping?? Pricing might be temporarily incorrect on Summit's site so I jumped on it. I'll let everyone know the quality and install quirks when I get it. Thanks

Not sure I like how the fair lead mounts.

I downloaded the instructions and it seems a little more complicated than the other brands (except for the cutting)

The instructions have you take off the hood latch equipment so the winch can wiggle in from the top after the bumper is on. Wonder if you could mount the winch to the bumper and then instal without the other hassle.

Not having to cut the bumper would be a huge plus for this.

I have the SSO slimline bumper and absolutely love it. Not to mention their customer service is top notch. And it's in my opinion, the best looking bumper out there.

I wouldn’t even consider this a ripoff. As far as I’m aware SSO isn’t the first company to put out a low pro winch mount. US Off-road did this with the 2nd gen years back. Undercoverhiddenwinch mount also had their rendition for the 2nd gen. Pelfreybilt even put one out.

SSO put it out for the 3rd gen and other fab shops put out theirs. Relentless, SOS, etc.

It’s just a popular design with people and all the good shops put out their own design of the same form factor. People suggesting it’s some knockoff need to stop drinking the koolaid. If it was a direct carbon copy that would be different.

Besides that, Warn goes with a blockier look. Look at their FJ bumper for example.
