Hows your mattress? I used to have back pain all the fucking time and we just got a new mattress with an adjustable base and, I'm not one to overexaggerate when it's not for humor's sake, but it really has made a world of difference. I don't even remember the last day I woke up with back pain

Back ache ÷ Vicodin = less pain.

Hey Bill, did you consider a rebuild of your alternator or was she totally pooched?

There is a nicely detailed DIY on this forum for alternator rebuilds, in case anybody is ever in the need/of the mind to do so.

It was near zero temps. Main concern was getting it changed without me having to touch it. Then time was a factor. If it would have been warmer I might have done it myself.

Ended up being a deceased diode. Might have been "fixable". New one has lifetime warranty.

Just ordered a new winch hook. Got the heavy duty Warn hook rated for 18,000lb winch. Like the looks of the Factor 55 thimble, but have found the hook to be easier to deal with in most cases. May decide differently at some point. It was just awkward and slow hooking up with gloves on and single digit temps with the thimble/shackle.

@ Doctor. I had CT scan 2 weeks ago. Today I'll get the results. This is a follow up on the kidney cancer surgury from 2 years ago. Doctor has been on vacation. I'd really like to know ASAP.

CT scan clear. Blood work great. Numbers ideal...

1 more exam in a year and we're done!
