So I've search TacomaWorld for someone experiencing the same, but haven't found anything quite like what I'm experiencing. During my scheduled maintenance, the mechanics didn't even hear it. Here is a movie that captures the sound, you can really hear it around :05 - https://1drv.ms/v/s!ApPgLGIyd1ZfkEd7EuT1iD47V932

It seems to only really occur with cross winds and sounds like it's coming from outside the truck in/around the bed somewhere. When this happens the bed is either empty or everything is secured. It occurred before and after the addition of the Toyota tonneau.

Any help is much appreciated - it's been driving me nuts on long drives.

UPDATE & RESOLUTION: So my local dealership figured it out with the help of the clip above. Turns out the heat shield near the gas tank wasn't properly fastened and in a strong cross wind would be blown to hit the driveshaft. It scored the driveshaft enough that they felt it needed to be replaced.

it looks like the file is gone, and I am having a similar irritating sound when driving with crosswinds, but I swear it sounds like it's coming from right between the cab and the bed, near the glass of the window. Unfortunately I am always by myself when I am driving so I can never get someone to help pinpoint the noise.

Would love to see your video to see if its the same noise I have!
