    What’s this sound?

Drove my truck on a short three hour trip to Lake Tahoe, Ca. The drive was smooth, overall she ran strong no issues whatsoever. The minute I entered the city and reached my first red light this sound began, and the sound went away as soon as I accelerated on green light. And came on next red light again.

Arrived to my hotel and tested if this sound also happened on Park, Reverse, or Neutral, and no. It happens when pressing brake and on drive. Other words: coming to stop a complete stop.

    Anyone experience this sound sound?

How often do the fuel injectors need to do this?

It's something that would be embarrassing to me in public. If this is a regular thing that happens every 1k miles, I feel like it would be brought up more on the threads with people bitching I've seen.

It's more of a Thumping sound. I'd get it checked out. Ticking is normal and more persistent when cleaning mode. Chirping sound is bad. Theirs a thread on that. Your sounds more of a weird thumping, unless that the way your camera is picking up the sound. Try opening the hood and take another video

Mine does this as well, took mine to the dealer and of course it wouldnt make the noise. I don’t think it is the injectors. Does yours stop when you turn the steering wheel?

Def make an appointment. It'll save you time and you'll likely be treated nicer. It's sad but true.
