I just tried this out today and liked it. Just cut electrical conduit to about 5'. I like the hook in the back of the 2x4 holder to hang my target.

If you look at my photos above of the painted plates, the little guy to the far left, I had to take off and put a heavier plate on because my 6.5 Creedmoor hit that little target with so much energy at 170 yards that it nocked the entire stand backwards making it stand up on the back of legs and the front poles fallout and then the whole Stand collapsed with one hit. So now I keep the big rounds to the bigger plates that can handle the energy better.

Push the optic forward a couple inches. I professionally use one in a similar configuration and have been for several years.

It's a powered red dot w/ 3 in. eye relief. I get thrown off when its further out cause I use both of my eyes open even with powered scopes.

He ended up using the Crossman hollow points lead. In his gun the alloys or aluminums went all over the place. If you want to have a little more fun, put a drop or two of oil in the end of the barrel before putting your pellet in, every two or three shots you will gain another 200 to 400 ft./s with the oil but I will tell you it does make it louder( you put the oil in the pellet end not the end of the barrel)

I do too. But every eye is different! Looks like that charger will work great. Especially for non-tactical uses.

True. Do you think this charging handle would work great for tactical use?

I have cooked a bunch of wild Hog sausage and the only fat in it is the fat you or your processor add to it when they make the sausage. Wild Hog is very lean. We killed and cooked a wild ham in the smoker and it tasted like a roast more than a ham.

Haha, that is what I told her. She's a suburban chick, hog=pig to her mind. Heck, it took me 2 years just for her to try veal that I hunted. She thought if meat did not come from stores = bad meat...

I would say it depends how solid it is, what gear you are wearing (interference), how much positive grip can be obtained, and ultimately, practice to include malfunction drills.
I'd like to get my hands on one and take a good look at it.

I was going to say if you had a sight install tool or could borrow one it would be real quick. Some Gunsmiths like to make it sound like it is complicated.

It's called habu charging handle, made by falcon 47 (I believe that's the company's name; US private company if you care about that stuff) if you ever want to get one. Really easy to use in my opinion, but my guns are pretty much not same as what I use in military applications. Biggest difference I think would be my trigger on my guns compared to the M4s. I hate the 8-12lbs pull on those suckers, while most of my hunting and personal firearms are 3-4 lbs trigger pull with no pre/over travel. Took about a day or two to get used to doing clear/malfunction drills on the charging handle, but I like how it uses major motor skills as oppose to minor ones.

Agreed, always comes down to having the tools. I guess these sights need to be filed a little bit to fit too. I'm gonna have to get one of those tools sooner or later though.

You might have to knock the finish off of the dove tail, I am really not sure. Some sights a directional too. and will only go in one way. Might be worth getting a Gunsmith involved or at least talk /pick the mind of one or two. Google is you friend.

I use a bow, we had this Tom cat one time, was howling for about 2 nights outside my window. The third night there was no more howling.

Thanks. It's so convenient to have one and surprisingly this desk held up to when I was torquing the barrel nut =]. I thought something would give.
