Wheel choice, help plz

Hi,
I am thinking of buying the plain Jane 2018 white Tacoma SR/ 4x2.
It will suit my driving habits. However, I dislike the boring wheels that it comes with. I really want all black matte colored wheels. Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but can I simply buy some new wheels and have them put on the new truck without it affecting the alignment and causing other unwelcome issues? What about buying a larger sized wheel such as 17 inch instead of 16 inch? Does one then need to get a lifted suspension to accomodate the larger wheel and tire?
Basically, I want it to look more like the offroad version, but I dont want to purchase the TRD offroad because I will never go offroading. I simply want the look.
