Haha, I'm dealing with all this crap now for my contracts. Need to figure out how to provide guidance to my employees. At the end of the day, the Contracts Officer (CO) holds the power to tell you to either come in or stop work.

 

It’s a mess...weve been waiting for our COs all morning. Luckily I’m not on a contract at the moment but everyone else is going crazy haha

3 week CR. So 3 weeks, back in the same situation.

 

our entire shop is considered "mission essential"... but I have been feeling under the weather for the last few days anyways... went to the doc, found out I have pneumonia. fml.

he gave me a Z-pack and an inhaler and some antibiotics so hopefully I'm ready to go for tomorrow.

Sometimes you gotta get that motrin and mucinex combo! Sounds like you should have went in sooner. Im the same way i hate sick call and the docs.

 

Just putting it out to the group, I am looking to bump up to 32's or 33's. I currently have 2017 TRD OR rims (with TRD resin caps courtesy of @Me. Projekt , which look sweet) with stock 265/70R16 Goodyear Kevlar tires. They have maybe 20k on them. I was checking in to see if anyone was looking to make a swap.

Back to work for me. I was furloughed just long enough to clean out half my garage.

 

Give it 3 weeks...

 

Flu can turn to pneumonia real quick and kill even the healthiest people. And from what I have been seeing lately in the headlines, the flu has been very bad this year. Get lots of rest and keep on top of that crap. If it gets worse, ER is your friend. Definitely not worth dying over saving a few bucks by not visiting the hospital

 

Ha! I said the same thing yesterday. In 3 weeks we will be back to sitting in conference rooms finding out who gets the boot for that one.

 

Gonna be spending the next week's doing budget drills in prep for the next furlough

 

If they can push it out to 4 weeks I'll be on vacation.

 

Yeah, I've had pneumonia before. One of the few times where I actually thought I was going to die. I have the added benefit of a "compromised" immune system.

 

Shit they were rescinding people's leave here. If you were on leave status, it immediately went to furlough...listened to a guy curse for like 5 min while he was waiting to fly to a sandals resort.
