Death Valley Picture Dump - Dec 2017

Just dropping off some of my pictures of the trip @m3bassman and I took to Death Valley National Park over the New Years long weekend. He did a nice write-up of the places we visited and events that occured

Starting the New Year in the Valley of Death

 

The geology is pretty amazing. Gonna have to get there one day.

 

Just not in a position to do a trip like that anytime soon. Have other domestic priorities and the truck isn't where I'd like it to be for that sort of adventure. If I planned for it, I could maybe do it in two or three years.

 

Ay recognized striped butte, only realized it because its near the location of the Death Valley Germans. Been wanting to explore the area they went missing in.

Great photos. On my bucket list, I hope to go to DV this year or next. Such a shame that that jackass drove out on the racetrack last year.

I'm not too sure to be honest. Some family friends of mine from WA invited me to join them on their spring break. Looks like it starts on March 9th so sometime around then, and it would be a 3-5 day trip given they only get a week.

 

That would be cool, I don't know if you have a CB but I'm always on channel 22 if you happen to spot me.

 

I don't have a HAM but my friends do so I can have them keep one of theirs set there

 

I don't see it in the trips section, is it hiding somewhere else?

 

J tree is cool, just gotta convince her she'll see plenty of them in DV too.
