    If the guys on this thread new who it was there jaws would drop, but i dont operate by bringing somebody down, actually after all i herd about this company i was really let down and dissapointed, but life go's on and i will buy from somebody else even if its more expensive, cause i dang sure would want to go to this company with tech support.

    Can't really "tune" a spacer lift. I ran a spacer lift for several years.

    I had no negative effects with the front. Ride quality was the same. This spacer was above the coil assembly, and not the type that compresses the spring.

    The rear, I had the Toytec AAL, and a 1" block. The AAL improved payload capacity, but also gave a noticeable stiffer ride (when unloaded). The block may have been responsible for both AALs eventually snapping in half. The blocks may also cause the springs to have a negative arch, but the factory springs will eventually do that anyways, with or without blocks.

    FWIW :) @Kotah it can depending on what you use your truck for along with your budget.

    It all comes down to looking at the whole picture and seeing which options can work best for each individual.

    I know we get people who want to lift their truck a very specific amount and do not want to alter the ride quality in any way so we can mention blocks and sometimes even spacers to people. Also some people want to lift their truck 3" and only want to spend $400 so spacer/block kits are the only option for them. Other don't want to replace coils, shocks, leafs, etc because their suspension is new so that can really only leave spacers and blocks as well.

    The blocks will only lift the rear end but offer nothing in the way of additional performance and capabilities. The nice thing about them is that they don't alter the ride quality and lift the truck a 1:1 ratio. For some people that is the most important so for them blocks work. The add-a-leafs will offer more in the way of performance but can alter the ride since you are adding more steel out back. This can depend on the style of add-a-leaf, etc. Any spring, whether it is a coil spring in the front or a leaf spring in the back, will provide a varying amount of lift so it can be hard to guarantee lift heights so they are approximate. The thing about the add-a-leafs, though they will offer some additional capabilities, they are still reliant on the factory leaf pack. Which, if the factory pack is worn then the aal is help but it is not a cure all.

    The 884's are a great option. We get a lot of people who look at them. They will stiffen the front end some, from the feedback I have, but not in a way that kills the ride. Usually helps to support the weight of the front end better and help to prevent the nose dives at stops and sloppy cornering that you can feel with the stock suspension. Again the lift isn't a 1:1 ratio so it is approximate. The 884's will provide around 2" of lift on a stock weight 05-15 4dr 4wd. Which could keep you safe from needing uca's.

    Now with this set up you would be lifting the front around the same rate you would be lifting the rear (884's and aal's) so you would be maintaining some of the factory rake.

    After reading this thread, I am now cross-eyed, and very much want my 2 minutes back.

    Also, you can totally tune a block. That's like, where you hit it with a tuning fork, right?
