I own a 2016 taco dclb and when a first purchase it I noticed the rear leaf springs were arched. After 5 months they are completely straight . Is this normal it also looks like the truvk sits an inch lower in the rear. Any info would be helpful . Thanks

Yes. Tacoma leaf springs are weak. All generations.

I bet that old hilux that top gear tried to kill still had more arch in its leafpack than any 2nd or 3rd gen tacoma.

Yes Even the OME Dakars straighten out quite a bit after they settle. Nothing to be worried about.

My 2017 dclb with 5k miles is sagging so much that the right rear is 2" higher than the left rear. The dealer won't do anything. I spent 45K and now I'm going to put on new leafs, as soon as I figure out which are best. Very disappointed in toyota.

On my 2006, I just went to a spring shop and they Re-arched my existing springs and added 1 more.... It was totally great after that...

Prior, It would bottom out on empty....! Spring shop saved my truck.....

They Toyota spring recall FINALLY came out end I told them to pound salt..!!

No problems with my 2016 yet...:fingerscrossed:

The AAL is a bandaid to a piece of $hit. I'll just get rid of the toyota leafs and put real leafs in. Makes me wonder if I should get rid of the whole freaking thing. Really pissed off about spending 45K on a money pit.
