Baby Moons, color matched rims, and thin strip white walls equals a nice looking grocery getter. I like your look.

I need to get less sidewall, discount tire didn't want to go with 45s so I'm running 55s and the front rubs or hits the fenders.

Super Clean. I am not usually a fan of 10 spoke rims but those look better than great on your Tacoma. Well done.

    Thanks for the compliments gentlemen!

I was looking for a 5 spoke OEM wheel but kept my choices open, and these had the size/specs I was looking for.. they "looked" light (weighed at 24 pounds), and reminded me of more of an "open 5 spoke" than a traditional 10 spoke.

When I was perusing all the OEM offerings from Toyota and Lexus I just kept seeing these and envisioned them working nicely on my truck in my mind, and now that they are on there I am super glad with my choice!

    Still thinking about it.
Those are some nice little trucks that you guys have. Very cool.

I was wondering, is the manual trans in a 2nd gen 5-lug the same as in a 4x4? My 4x4 trans is very truck-like and doesn't like to be shifted quickly. I think it might be frustrating in a truck that's set up to be played with on pavement.

I think you're on to something, these are truck like tranny/shifters not really meant to be "played with". If it is more shifting fun you are after, you may consider the short shift kit from LCE for 40% less shift travel, I got this on my list as well for my first gen "fun truck build"!

    https://www.lceperformance.com/LC-Short-Shifter-Kit-3VZ-5VZ-2TR-2wd-p/1097006.htm

Back to the topic and truck this will be going on "shortly"...
