Plate bumpers and much more steel plus on a RED truck and they only have crossed the road in front of me once. These little fuckers are all over by my house too. Plus side is the light bar catches their eyes way out so I know where they are.

I'm not trying to say that you are wrong and they don't work, I have no idea if they do or don't. But I do not want them on my truck while driving out to the lands that I hunt running off potential meat for my freezer if they do work.

A little extreme, but I don't like buying meat from the store, I'd rather harvest wild animals and eat them. Much more fun and healthy if you cook it right. I'll do just about anything I can within reason to increase my chances of making that happen.

First off this is not directed at the OP but here goes anyway. When you believe in “snake oil” there is no argument that will convince you otherwise. True believers will find evidence to back up the claims made for the product they wasted money on. There’s the tornado thing that goes in your intake to increase mileage, something called sea foam that makes a lot of smoke, or a little bottle of fluid that’s supposed to make your oil more slippery and the list goes on. The deer whistles don’t work either. None of it does anything but empty your wallet. With good marketing you could piss in a bottle and get people to pour it into their gas tank with the promise of better mpg.
So step right up and be the first to get “Piss-a-Mile”. I can bottle some up for you cause I just drank a beer. Just $20 plus $7 S&H. Hurry and place your order in the next 10 minutes and I’ll drink another beer and double your order, just pay an extra $7 S&H. I know you’re thinking you could just go the DIY route and piss directly into the gas tank but “Piss-a-Mile” really does work, believe me it’s got the best stuff in it! Besides how are you going to explain it when you’re caught with your dick in the fuel door?

Up in my neck of the woods there are thousands of deer. They don't sell deer whistles in the gas stations, general stores, hardware stores, laundry mat, car wash, liquor stores, hobby shops, donut shops, cop shops or head shops and sure as hell won't find them on my truck.

Best thing is a good eye and number one rule > when one of them run across don't fixate on it cause there's usually 3 or 4 more coming across after the first one, don't let the first one be the killer diversion, slow down and look for more!
