I am 6'1". And cannot ride in this beast of a truck for more than an hour and half without my rear and back angry with me. I love the truck, best truck I have ever owned, minus the front seat sitting so low and poorly designed. I feel I need it 2 inches higher, and 2 inches back to be able to stretch out.

Curious who here has installed new front seats due to the current situation with the uncomfortable stock seats.

If so, where did you buy, what did you buy, and what is a person looking at getting into trying to install? Are they something that is plug and play? or will there be drilling, ect?

I too would like to know this.
Racing seats are low, but they lift your knees to take pressure off your back. I've found I don't fit in 90% of the general population's chairs/seats after sitting in a few that fit.

Don’t have any advice but I agree whole heartedly for diff reasons. I find most seats in newer vehicles extremely uncomfortable. It’s probably my physique, 5’7”, overweight, boney ass. Most seats are too hard, the side bolsters too high digging into my thighs and seat bottoms either too long or too short. I feel like the princess and the pea or Goldilocks. Have tried every cushion known to man with no clear winner. Plus, they all slide around like crazy. I read somewhere that Recaro is developing a SUV seat. Might br worth watching.

This is some good info. Definitely worth looking into. I do sit much better in the 4runners.
