I went and did some light offroading with some other 3rd Gen Tacomas the other night. I love how capable these trucks are stock. Gets you to places with amazing views. Can't wait to put more into the truck!

That's awesome, cool to see a member so close. But yeah, the stock truck is pretty capable. I only did a few things while my truck was stock and wasn't disappointed.

Is that area you were any good? Been trying to find some little trails around here that haven't been closed down.

Head out to 5 mile pass. Plenty of stuff to do there. Just make sure to take another vehicle with you in case you get in trouble. Of course, during the summer, AF Canyon is pretty fun.

The place pictured above is just a lot of rough ATV tracks (I believe). It is probably private property as well, so may not even be legal to be on (correct me if I'm wrong).

I've been to 5 mile with someone else. Haven't been in my own truck yet.

Yea, if you go any higher, it becomes more ATV oriented. As for ownership, some of it is private property, but others are city owned. Mixed ownership on the land. At least, as far as I understand.

Yeah, the canyon is always a good time. I don't take my truck on the crazy trails but my buddy gots a crawler we take all over so that's fun. I haven't gone out to 5 mile pass yet in my truck, maybe I'll plan that one of these weekends. I've been going out around lake mountain/little moab but it's a drive to get out there. Tryin to find some stuff relatively close to the AF area. But yes, I always go wheelin with a friend..already got stuck in the sand once near lake mountain, ha. (To be fair, I was trying to get stuck so I could use crawl assist but then ended up getting high centered)
