(2017)When I drive up driveways I hear a loud noise coming from the front end. Sounds like struts have no oil. Very annoying . I went to Toyota and they said they had some other Tacoma customers with same problem but they could not make noise go away.

take it back to the dealership and make them fix it, or call corporate.

Do you mean they ('yota techs) couldn't make noise go away or the customer (or techs) couldn't replicate the noise ?.

Toyota Techs basically said they encountered problem but could not make noise go away . I’ll ahve to call Toyota Corp or wait for a recall . Not Toyota like ...

Could be the shock, coil, sway bar, upper control arm, ball joint,....

Factory skid plate , it could be all you mentioned but dealer will only document it. They don’t wanna start replacing all those parts if they are not sure. It only happens some time but I seen treads of other owners with same problem . Super loud noise and I only have 12,000 miles

Go out and try moving things or knocking on things until you hear a familiar sound.
I had the noise on my truck also, never really worried about as at 5k miles I put swapped out the suspension for 5100's still had it but kind of left stuff loose as it was my first install . Got everything tighten down to spec and it went away. Then switched out the front again for the icons and still the noise has not come back.

Is it a loud bang/clack or a squeaking?

I have the loud clack, dealer was able to replicate it once but didn't have time to fix it. Now it doesn't happen every time so they can't replicate it

Last time I had something like that it turned out my axle/cv joint had popped out on one side. Only happened when I turned and usually if the turn was on anytime of incline.

No warranty. Shock, coil, and spindle were changed and removed the sway bar.

Mine happened when I swapped shocks too, they fucked up the boot and denied it because they didn't want to pay to replace. Also look for the spring hitting the shock top if the suspension is loaded a certain way or turning.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Squeaking rear springs is VERY common.

If you're certain it's in the front, figure out how to make it happen every time. Certain angle through a gutter, whatever.

If you're willing to invest a little time............

Then begin lubing one component at a time with simple dish soap lightly diluted and repeat the test a couple of times. When you find the right part it will quit (temporarily). Now you know what to tell them to deal with.

It could he the leaf springs. Stand on the bumper and jump up and down. If they squeak, throw some white lithium grease between the leafs. My 2nd gen requires me to do this every couple years.
