Regarding the get home bag, mine and yours are very similar! One suggestion throw a dry bag of some sort in your pack this will keep the rest of your gear dry while you're enjoying your rain gear.

My bag is to get me home. I live in Dallas so there’s nowhere to bug out to. Across the street from me is a pasture with cattle. If society breaks down, I’m kidnapping a cow.

If most of us are honest, a BOB or get home bag really just gives us an excuse to buy cool gear.

Levis, socks, old t-shirts, an old work laptop backpack, glock mags, a lighter, water bottle, a knife and stone, and aspirin is all pretty cool.

If all you have for cash is $100 bills, then any nicnac you purchase during a no-electricity disaster will cost $100. Have plenty of smaller denominations, too.
For a stove, I'd suggest the equivalent of an MSR Pocket Rocket and a 220 gram canister (for light weight, easy, foolproof and compact cooking). There are plenty of small cookpots sized to hold these little butane stoves and a 220 gr. canister. I went w/ the SnowPeak GS-100 stove, inside the same companies Trek 900 Ti pot. But that's because I backpack and actually use this gear. Almost every last hiker I see on the PCT and JMT uses these sorts of stoves. White gas and alcohol users were nowhere to be seen, IME.

If you intend to have a survival type rifle along, do you ACTUALLY hunt with it? If it can't be made to work during peacetime in the hunting fields, hows it gonna work when you are injured, desperate and exhausted? The M6 Scout is a case in point.
