I have a Demello front bumper from my truck and Im looking for some off road lights for said bumper. Its pretty dark out here in the country so I would prefer something that has good light distance. I've been looking at HID lights like KC or Hella but its hard to find some that fit. The catch is that my hoop on the bumper will only fit a maximum of a 5" light so that rules out the large 6-7" Hella and KC lights. Any suggestions as far as LED/Halogen/HID? The difficulty is finding something not LED that is small enough to fit in the hoop. I've heard LEDs arent going to match distance compared to Halogen and HID. Looking for suggestions.

    Thanks for posting up!

Over the years LED technology has increased greatly causing performance to jump significantly. A lot comes down to the LED being used and the optic that is focusing the light down range. We've found our LED lights provide the same distance as our HIDs but with much more usable light and a smoother pattern. We've even started to experiment with LASER emitters instead of LED which yield up to an additional 60% more distance!

A lot comes down to how you're using the truck and how much light you need down range. Based on the dimensions you're working with our XL Series will be the best candidate at 4.5"x4.5". We do offer the XLs in 4 different performance packages.
