    Has anyone put this faux trd pro grille on a 2018? Trying to figure out if I need to get the plexiglass or whatever that piece of plastic in front of the sensor that protects it.

    ATTENTION 2018+ TACOMA OWNERS. We have received many questions about wether our TRD pro Grille will work with the 2018+ Tacoma’s and their Toyota Safety Sense package. The front sensors directly bolt up in our TRD pro grilles for relocation with no modification needed! So your good to go!

    I just did mine Today. It "MAY" work without the garnish, but then the question is how well and how long. It "WILL" work flawlessly WITH the garnish.

    Jake, why are your knock-offs so expensive ?? You are selling those for more than my OEM listed for Retail at my local Toyota Dealership. The retail list was only 259.00. I actually got it for 188.86. Can you help me understand this one please ??

    Unless Toyota updated the price and part number for 18'. IIRC the OEM was part #
    $281 PT228-35170 Toyota Genuine Parts - TRD Pro Grill Tacoma (PT228-35170)
    PT228-35170. (Not 80). And MSRP was around $400

    That is the receipt for the TRD Pro grill (and garnish) for the 2018 Model Tacoma TRD Pro. You are looking at it. Those are the model numbers used to order the grill and price the grill. That is also the part number on the box as well. I would venture to say they are correct. That is what I paid.

    I had the option of purchasing the entire grill and grill surround for around 400.00, but I didn’t need the surround since my truck already has one. I just got the grill (and the garnish) easy to install (about 15-20 minutes) looks great.
