I'm going to say some minor things that only pro owners would pay/care for? Power seats, golden encrusted vin number, Rav 4 convex mirrors, and more than likely black "Tacoma" letters on stamped tailgate. :stirthepot:

If one considers the Wrangler Rubicon to be the gold standard of factory off-road trims, just go down the list of JL Rubicon features, and pick the ones that Toyota isn't too conservative to actually do:
    -Brodozer tires: No-brainer
-Front locker: maybe, as you said
-Shorter final drive and/or crawl ratio: maybe, but Taco fuel economy is already dismal, and Toyota isn't known for offering a bunch of different axles like other brands
-Modest factory lift: they already lift the front a bit on the TRD Pro, might lift it a bit more all around
-Sway bar disconnect: Toyota would be afraid of it breaking

Better leaf springs, Multimatic shocks, etc. would be awesome, but I wouldn't count on it. It'll probably get just enough updates so that the TRD Pro is no longer embarrassed by the ZR2.

I can see the Tundra finally gets a rear locker while the 4Runner and Tacoma get front lockers.

All of them have nitto ridge grapplers and there's a new wheel design too.I have eagle eyes, it's my talent.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Pro doesn't have anything like this going on, does it? This video...THAT'S embarrassing

Doesn't say new updated Pro says next batch of trail ready, maybe it's just a new trim.

Tundra Pro for 2019 since it was omitted for 2018. Taco & 4R will be status quo with additional minor midlife cosmetic updates... just my opinion.

Does anyone think this new TRD Pro Tundra will have a redesign?

Tundra might get brought into the 21st century around the time the latest F150 has warp drive, teleportation, and time travel.

They need to beef up the engines which in unlikely. I would never buy the current pro just based on the fact of no significant performance increase. Not saying the pros aren’t nice, just saying if I pay that much extra I better get more than a factory lift and leather seats.

How much more appealing would the Taco pro b with a supercharger? If I’m paying that much it better have more power than my off-road. Either way I’m keeping my truck, but just my thoughts.

The engine isn't the problem. Drive a Highlander that has the same 3.5l v6. It gets up and goes no questions asked. It's our transmissions that suck the life out of these things.

One easy solution is a mild hybrid system; on the 2.0t JL Wrangler it adds like 90 ft-lb for brief intervals by spinning the alternator as a motor, transferring that torque to the drive train via the accessory belt. It has a tiny little 48V lithium battery that barely adds any weight.

48V mild hybrids are here or coming to many models over the next few years. Knowing, Toyota, they'll be the last to adopt it (just like with direct injection, turbos, Carplay, etc).
