Im heading to the mountains and am having these 2 issues. The fan has been intermittent the last couple weeks. I read on the forums and came to the conclusion it was the resister. I ordered one swapped it and nothing. About 3 days later when it was raining I noticed water dripping onto my floor mat on the passenger side. Im assuming water coming in could have caused my air system to stop working. Any info would be much appreciated. I messed with the plastic piece on the corner of the windshield and the dripping stopped and hasn't picked back up with more rain over the past couple days.

I have this problem too, except me HVAC system still work, but i can hear the fan struggling when it rains hard. And like yours, my truck leaks water in onto the passengers floor. Ive noticed that it seems to take in a lot more water when i park my truck with the front uphill.

Check the AC Cabin Filter behind the glove box.
Is it wet? If it is then the problem. Is the plastic cowling beneath the windshield. It should divert water away from the air intake underneath the cowling.

Probably have clogged or rusted cowl drains

Locate the evaporator drain tube and see if it is clogged
