I'm looking for recommendations for all terrain tires for my 2003 tacoma. I basically want something a bit more aggressive than a standard all season tire. I currently have 265/75 R16 and am looking for a similar size. I have a short commute to work but do travel long distances on the road to get to 4X4 destinations on the weekends. Looking to spend between $700-$1000.

BFG K02's remain and always have been the ticket. Toyota uses them in the Baja races... ( I just made that up)

Added bonus for us Northerners, is they come with the snowflake designation!

    This and that...
Happy with my Falkens during this past storm in CO. Felt solid on Loveland pass on packed powder and brake checks on ice back in Denver were better than past brands I had, BFG KO and Hankook Dynapro ATM. Plus $130 a tire.

Nitto Ridge Grapplers are a great tire, not sure if you can four for $1000 though.
