Got my CB hooked back up with a new unit from @Iggy and added a new 90 degree layover piece so I can stop smashing antennas in parking garages






Also got the homie hookup on some lightly used Treds from @EDDO to boost my likes on the gram

 

Had a damn good day off! I was pretty productive! Got some fast internet hooked up at my house finally (more TW ftw), got my spare @SCSPerformance wheel delivered by @Don5352 and mounted right away on an OG 35" BFG KO, and I wired up my @Iggy 20” LED bar behind my grille (all by myself, kinda proud lol). I was especially excited that the idea I had worked for my BAMF behind the grille light bar and LED drop brackets. I couldn't find anyone who had tried it with the 2011 honeycomb grille, so I didn't have a clue if it would actually fit. However, after quite a bit of time troubleshooting the setup, can confirm that it fits behind the 2011 grille and still puts out good light. Just need to trim the bottom middle grille mount tab thing that sticks out hella far. The screws, push pins and bottom clips into the headlight still keep it quite secure without that middle piece.

Next up: drilling a hole in my cowl next weekend

Still motivated today, I wired in some raptor lights I stole from @LTDSC using an add a circuit fuse holder behind the coin tray for power. Tapped the ACC 7.5 amp fuse so it’ll be on as long as the truck is on

 

1/27/18 - Hollister shakedown run

Met up with some Golden State Overland boys for a quick trip down to Hollister to play around in the dirt. Nothing much to report other than I absolutely love my +2 long travel kit from Baja Kits with King coil overs





















Apparently my shirt was a hit with the crew lol. I had to keep myself from laughing every time they asked me to pose for a picture. Not much trail footage, because Hollister, but the LT/Kings combo kicked ass.

Also, I won some stuff when I got home thanks to @inv3ctiv3 IG giveaway, which was pretty kickass. Will update when the goodies start flowing in.

 

Cowl intake mod and rear diff breather parts en route. Shit goes down on Wednesday (or Thursday depending on what time they show up)

 

2/9 - 2/11/18: Mojave Road

I was invited by @BPaulin_ on a trip to run Mojave Road with @LTDSC and a few other guys last weekend. That trail is amazing, and the company was just as good. I was thrilled to spend some time with old friends and to make a few new ones along the way. The icing on the cake was being able to steal my niece away from cheer practice and shopping to go wheeling and camping for the first time ever...awesome bonding experience.

If you decide to run the trail, feel free to add to our new rubber ducky shrine that we started with the little fellas from my dashboard. Here are some pics...
