Jerry at BAMF always over does everything...and that's a good thing

He has offered to do R&D on skids for 1st gens, they will be the beefiest skids you can buy.

    -1/4'' All the way
-either Just front skids availbe or full coverage skids

    Here's the deal.

We need 30 people to sign up for this before he starts the R&D. Jerry has NOT designed these skids yet, they aren't ready to go. So this will TAKE TIME. Do not expect a fast turn around.

Do NOT sign up if you can't swing it. This is NOT a feeler thread.

You can either get a front skid or full coverage to the Tcase. You're choice. All 1/4'', so yes they will be heavy but also damn near unbendable.

Prices are approximate as they haven't been designed yet.

    Front skid: $325.00 to $350.00

    Full set: $700

This does not include shipping and does not include the 10% TW discount.

These are photos of his 2nd gen skids to give you an Idea of what's possible:

So who wants some bomb proof skid plates for their rig?

I’m game for the front skid. Ordering a CBI weld yourself front bumper here in the next week or two.

These look sweet. Must be nice feels when a new 1st gen product appears on the horizon.

I missed out on the initial run and special TW pricing on 2nd gen skids. Ragrets.

Beefiest looking skids I've seen. I like the gussets in the front.

agreed. But also heavy. Not for the people looking to stay light. But definitely for those looked to push the truck hard and bash some rocks.

Well seeing as to how allpro bumpers have unique mounts, you have to use allpro skids. Or make your own. I doubt Jerry will make skids that a different from 99% of the rest of the tacomas out there.

Steel only? I’m planning on ordering a full set of skids, but was planning on getting aluminum from Bud Built. I live in Florida, we don’t see enough rock to justify the 1/4” steel.

Steel only. Jerry doesn't do aluminum skids. Not beefy enough for the BAMF name.

    ha! totally like apple stuff.

I can’t seem to make the jump whenever my last 2 Asus laptops have lasted about 4 years each.
