I searched for, and pulled up and read the first 20 threads about Eastman anti-rust products on Tacos. But I didn't see -any- that were long term reports about how it held up, or didn't.

I have a new '18 taco rolling in in about 2 weeks and am debating about working the truck over with the Eastman stuff.

What say the Taco brain trust? Toyota certainly went through a bad spot for a while, so maybe now they are the most rust proof truck on the market. Or not........

I have used Krown for a number of years and am pleased with it. Sorry was not the answer to your question, but I wanted to give you some feedback from my experience. I researched rust prevention a bunch before I had my Tacoma done and Krown was consistently one of the best.

And how long has your truck remained rust free?

4 Years. They use the brine solution on roads where I live and it is hard as hell on vehicles.

I researched and Krown is really popular in Canada where they deal with this problem all t he time. The only problem is you need to find someone nearby to apply it. You also need to get it reapplied every year.

Sadly, nothing in my state. If it was a one shot deal maybe....but it isn't.
