Update: I’ve been in contact with the At-Fault insurance and had a body shop estimate the damage at $9,000. They denied that estimate and countered it with a $7,000 estimate because they didn’t want to cover the N-Fab steps or my dented method wheel from the accident. Are they supposed to replace those parts?

They are supposed to put it back to how it was prior to being damaged.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg This is a T-boned Tacoma. White Chevy in background was the culprit. He was pulling a 14' enclosed trailer.

Sorry, and really don’t want to say what happened to me, but I think your answer is going to be yes, but extra parts will not necessarily be replaced as new. Their payment for covering your add-ons can be depreciated (and/or parts will be “repaired” if the shop and adjuster feel it’s possible).

Really sucks. In my experience, it won't be as good as new. Especially the paint. I rolled my 2003 Tundra 3 months after buying it (black ice in Maine). Had it repaired at the Dealership but it had problems in the long run. Hope your experience is better. Definitely make them restore it to the same condition it was before the wreck.
